Stomach Proteins are broken down by Pepsin into smaller polypeptides. Lumen of small intestine Polysaccharides are broken down by Pancreatic Amylase into smaller disaccharides. Polypeptides are broken down by Pancreatic Trypsin and Chymotrypsin into smaller polypeptides. The smaller polypeptides are then broken down into amino acids by Pancreatic carboxypeptidase. DNA and RNA are broken down into Nucleotides by Pancreatic Nucleases. Fat globules are surrounded by Bile Salts. Fat droplets are broken down into glycerol, fatty acids, and glycerides by Pancreatic lipase . Epithelium of small intestine Remaining polysaccharides are further digested into monosaccharides. Remaining polypeptides are broken down by various Dipeptidases, Carboxypeptidase, and Aminopeptidase into amino acids.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
