2. Evaluating financial projects using the time value of money
a. Be able to calculate financial payments on a loan or mortgage.
b. Be able to use present value analysis or use internal rate of returns
to determine whether a project itself is worth undertaking, or whether
it is a better alternative when compared to another project.
c. Understand the concepts of salvage value and depreciation.
