Rob Lentz Marketing 447 Advertising Analysis The Wrangler ad is simple in its style, yet it conveys a lot of information. The way the ad is able to get your attention is through the use of a celebrity endorsement. Other than that the advertisement is pretty straightforward in its substance. The Wrangler logo is prominently displayed as well as their taglines and information about their blue jeans. The celebrity is Brett Favre, the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. The use of a well known pro football player helps the consumer to associate Wrangler jeans with Brett Favre. Wrangler brand is positioned differently than many other blue jeans company. While many other companies’ position themselves as fashionable, Wrangler positions themselves to be a strong, durable, and tough jean which they reinforce with their advertisement. The Wrangler brand isn’t known for fashion and the hip trends; they instead make a product that their customers want and need. Many of their customers are from rural areas, and work blue collar
