Behavioral Genetics 1. Fuller’s experiments : Breeding Temperament- a. difference is controlled by a single gene. b. Basenji(scared dominant trait)/cocker spaniel c. Tryon’s Experiment on selective breeding of Maze Learning a. “Maze Bright”-mated the ones that were best at the maze b. “Maze Dull”-mated the ones that were the worst of the maze c. Generations later bright still the best and made fewer errors then best dull. d. To test that they were not learning from mothers he cross-fostered- switched mothers which showed that it had no impact. e.
