Environmental Fundamentals 2 Environmental Fundamentals Environmental Science can be described in many ways but it does not change the situation we face. The relationship between environmental issues and technology is ever growing, as is the concept of environmental sustainability. Historical patterns have proved to us how important environmental sustainability is and how greatly human values can affect it. According to Wiley & Sons (2015) Environmental science is defined as “an interdisciplinary field that combines information from many disciplines, such as biology, geography, chemistry, geology, physics, economics, sociology (particularly , the study of populations), cultural anthropology, natural resource management, agriculture, engineering, law, politics, and ethics.” I believe our environment is very important because it influences our life. We depend on the environment for survival. Environment is our surroundings which makes up the relationships of people, animals, plants, and even non-living things.
