Cover Memo Date: 5/27/2007 From:Mahanaim Peterson RE: Personal Project PURPOSE The purpose of the excel list is to find the monthly payment of each person.  The purpose of the pivot chart was to summarize all of the monthly  payments. OUTLINE In the Documentation sheet I described the purpose of the spreadsheet.  I  also formatted it to make it more professional and presentable.   The Excel List was the next sheet that I created.  I created the list to contain  records about different loans that were borrowed.  I used the function PMT  to calculate the monthly payments of each person’s loan.  Next I used  Conditional Formatting to highlight the monthly payments of more than  $250.00.   The last sheet created was a Pivot Table.  The Pivot Table was created from

Another thing that I learned is when making an Excel List; sometimes it is better to have many field names. By having many field names it allowed me to describe what the list was about.
