Importance of Servant Leadership in Building Trust and Sustainable Partnerships
Servant Leadership
Effective leadership has to apply effective communication that engages the involvement
of every stakeholder in the partnership. Most of the leaders who manage to run partnerships
effectively usually apply servant leadership skills ( Jit et al., 2017) . These leaders are believed to
have the ability to develop effective partnership strategies within a community through
congruence and humility. They usually take part in every activity to show the members how it is
supposed to be conducted. By doing so, they usually understand the challenges that their
followers experience when undertaking various tasks. This is because they usually use the
resources that their members utilize in performing various tasks and therefore they can
understand whether such equipment or procedures are effective.
