Who’s to blame? Wikipedia’s definition of a disaster (from Greek meaning, "bad star") is a natural or man-made event that negatively affects life, property, livelihood or industry often resulting in permanent changes to human societies, ecosystems and environment. People go about disasters in different ways. Some people go as far as believing disasters are an ‘act of God’, while others believe it is just something that happens in nature. Most people involved in the Hurricane Katrina tragedy did not prepare themselves properly with what was coming. They expected someone else, like the government, to protect them from destruction. They blame others because they do not want to be held accountable for their mistakes. It is mainly God, the government, or gays that are being blamed.
