Technical Writing Instructor: Angel O'Keefe User Manual 9/9/07 How to Operate the Nikon FM10 Camera The Nikon FM10 is a single-lens reflex (SLR) camera that is easy to operate. Most 35mm cameras require you to adjust the amount of light to be allowed onto the film and to focus the camera. The Nikon FM10 will guide adjustments with a built- in light meter to make this task easier. You will be able to take pictures after these following easy steps: (1) load the film, (2) take the picture, and (3) unloading the film. Equipment and Supplies To use your camera, you will need: Nikon FM10 camera Roll of 35mm film Note: Different films are for different circumstances! Load the Film The first step before using your new camera would be to load the film. An unexposed 35mm roll of film is needed for this camera. Loading the film is easy: (1) open the back of the camera, (2) place the film in the camera, and (3) advance the film forward. Opening the film door of the camera.
