Week 1 DiscussionRobert StephensonHist-2005-2, World History: 1900-19459/4/2013Looking back on the technological advancements over the centuries it is common knowledge that as a generation of a particular timeline evolves, learns and adapts the skills, ideas and knowledge are passed down to the next generation, so on and so forth thus the evolution of the human race continues to climb up the ladder of change surpassing the expectations of the former. The Wright brother’s airplane symbolizes theemergence of technology based on new scientific knowledge and today rather than peddle operated glider style plane we have jet liners with reclining seats and internet access.Everything that touched the minds of inventors in the 1900’s has evolved into our modern conveniences of today. Cars, planes, T.V. & motion pictures, atomic energy, vaccines and antibiotics, satellites and space probes, computers, the list goes on.
