Project 1: Part A Cornell Orientation I attended quite a few activities during Cornell’s Freshman Orientation. Most of them I really enjoyed, while others I felt were unnecessary. The first thing that I did during Orientation was meet my floor RA’s. This was a good experience because I also met most of my floor mates, whom I have become good friends with. After this event, I met with my orientation leader, and other Hotelies. This was a fun experience because I got a chance to meet other individuals who were a part of my school and who also had no idea what the Hotel School was about. Even though it rained that night, it was great to meet up with some friends that I had classes with over the summer, and find out how their classes went. The next day I attended the Hotel Schools private events. This was the Dean’s welcome and the Hotelie State of Mind. I was actually surprised to see how many Hotelies their actually was for my year. But the speech was really good and I enjoyed it. Late that night, a couple of my friends with myself included went to Bartel
