After giving a lot of thought to your questions “What were my impressions of Freshman orientation and any suggestions for future orientations?” I felt that it was necessary for me to answer these questions because a lot of hard work went into the planning of these events. Since orientation was filled with many events, I was unable to make them all. However, the events I was able to attend were mostly fun and interesting, with an exception of one or two. The feedback that I will try to communicate today will hopefully be of some use in the planning of next year’s events: 1. Express my impressions of orientation 2. Express my ideas for next year’s orientation Orientation Events In terms of timing, First Night was scheduled perfectly. Since it was right after move in, it allowed for bonding time with hall mates. During the event however, there was organization. Even though we were with our orientation leaders, there was just a mass of Freshman wandering
