Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration, Statler Hall Date: September 2, 2007 To: Angus MacKenzie From: Subject: Orientation week over view We met briefly at Barton Hall on August 19, 2007. After giving a lot of thought to your questions “What were my impressions of Freshman orientation and any suggestions for future orientations?” I felt that it was necessary for me to answer these questions because a lot of hard work went into the planning of these events. Since orientation was filled with many events, I was unable to make them all. However, the events I was able to attend were mostly fun and interesting, with an exception of one or two. The feedback that I will try to communicate today will hopefully be of some use in the planning of next year’s events: 1. Express my impressions of orientation 2. Express my ideas for next year’s orientation Orientation Events In terms of timing, First Night was scheduled perfectly. Since it was right after move in, it allowed for bonding time with hall mates. During the event however, there was organization.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
