In this unit, you learned about how students’ developmental levels and diversity impactteaching and learning in STEM areas. Reflect on your own teaching in science, technology,engineering, and mathematics and the development and diversity of your students. First, I studied learning theories by various psychologists.Kohlberg’s theory introduced me to the concept of moral development in children andhow they learn and behave. The other readings byMcLeod (2018) elaborated onErickson’s psychosocial theory. I studied eight stages proposed by Erickson, whichprovided insights into the personality development of children at different stages.
