Nietzsche is a very interesting character which is very evident in his book Twilight of the Idols. In the section titled "Epigrams and Arrows" Nietzsche tends to criticize all the conventionalities of past philosophers. Not only of philosophers, but theologians and everyday people. He says, "Is humanity just God's mistake? Or God just a mistake of humanity?" (Nietzsche 6). He criticizes anyone who believes in God, he is almost mocking religious people. But at the same time he is mocking humanity too. He uses this mocking tone throughout the entire book, but that is part of Nietzsche's style. He criticizes the dialectic style in a whole chapter of the book entitled "The Problem of Socrates." Nietzsche has a sarcastic mocking style of philosophy. Nietzsche also brings up a great point through the use of a popular saying based on a poem called "Die Gesange" or "The Songs" by Johann Gottfried Seume, "'Evil people don't have songs'" (Nietzsche 8). Nietzsche then follows this quote with a remark about how the Russians shouldn't have songs. I took this saying in a sense that people who are evil and do evil things shouldn't be or have beautiful things. They oppose one another and for someone to have what is good and what is evil should not be able to
