By taking the requisite leadership and becomingactively involved throughout the healthcare system, nurses can promote effective partnership thatenables better design and delivery of effective healthcare programs. This paper explores the waysthrough which nurses can effectively advocate for the nursing professionals and profession in thedesign and implementation of healthcare programs.Healthcare Program Within My PracticeNurses play a significant role in the medical field, including providing a link betweenother medical professionals and patient care. Providing care to individuals with mental healthissues is one of the essential aspects of nursing. The challenges that face people living withmental diseases call for the design and implementation of effective healthcare programs that aimat ensuring optimal care. In my practice, one such program is home-based dancing therapy formentally sick adults. This program was designed and implemented by nurses in collaborationwith other medical professionals. It involves the use of a dancing as a therapy to assist mentallyill adults in enhancing cognition.
