Running Head: Midterm - Case Study#11What concepts in this chapter are illustrated in this case? The concepts in the chapter highlight the positives and many negatives of the FBI’sTerrorist Screening Center (TSC). The chapter goes on to explain why the list was created andthe severe need for a database such as this one. It was “established to consolidate informationabout suspected terrorists from multiple government agencies into a single list to enhance inter-agency communication” (Laudon & Laudon, 2020). Additionally, this chapter also explains howthe TSC database works, which organizations are using this program and its data and the manyissues that come along with its privacy concerns. Finally, this chapter talks about the many ways they have tried to improve the pitfalls ofthis program, its potential invasion of privacy or threat to an individual’s constitutional rights.
