Scott Welch March 20, 2007 Dr. Kinlaw Kant Senior Seminar Paper proposal: My idea for the final paper is to analyze the Refutation of Idealism in Kant’s Critique of Pure Reason. For this paper, I plan to employ various short essays and key sections from several books on the topic of idealism and the main focus will be on the “I” and Kant’s use of this term. The overall structure of the paper is still unknown, however, I find myself drawn to the conflict between the transcendental “I” and the idealism that results as the skeptic see’s it. Below is a short bibliography of texts I plan on using,
