Mike Duncan Log 1 In this article the titan data-storage company, EMC, is battling a sexual harassment case where two female employees are filing a class-action sexual harassment suit that is scheduled for September 17 th of this year. These two women compared the company to a frat house, and they also stated that EMC paid for several visits to strip clubs. In one case EMC took away large accounts from these women just to give them to men. However, all women in this company don’t feel that way. Most of the women chalk this up to the competitive nature of the company and say that they simply live in a dog eat dog world. If these accusations are true, I find them to be appalling. These women should not be forced to work in this kind of environment. When a company holds business meetings within a strip club in order to gain clients they are walking a line that is far beyond unethical. EMC cannot justify this behavior because of a “competitive business environment.” They are not supporting a professional environment, and this will most
