WEEK ONE PROBLEM SOLVING 2 Abstract Critical thinking and problem solving powerful processes and tools necessary for completing any task in professional/academic settings. Being a critical thinking is important to follow the five steps involved in the problem solving process. Without critical thinking, one would have the logic required to answer the questions that lead to implementing a solution to a given task or problem. In the professional realm, all employers value these key skills in their future employees so it is important to refine these skills. The quicker you can complete the tasks at hand, the more value you hold as a prospective employee. Therefore, the focus of importance is not on knowing everything your job entails; the focus is on using the resources available, like the internet, books, your critical problem solving skills as tools create a solution for the assigned task. In this literary essay, we revisit a problem I faced while in school. We will then branch out to look at a Google case study and examine how they came up with a solution to their search engine problem. Then we will end by looking forward as I take my academics to the professional world. Step by Step Problem Solving in My Personal Life MY EXPERIENCE. Fixing a problem is one thing, but figuring out the real problem is it’s own struggle. I grew accustomed to solving problems on my own without realizing that I was following the five-step problem solving process plan every time. I can truly say there has not yet
