Answer: Doing the forward and backward passes through the network, we find the following (earliest, latest) time values for the event nodes: 1: (0, 0) 2: (5, 5) 3. (8, 8) 4: (14, 17) 5: (20, 20) 6: (20, 20) 7: (28, 28) From these values, we can compute the answers to parts (a) through (e): (a) 20 (b) 20 (c) 15 (d) 20 – 14 – 3 = 3 (e) 14 – 0 – 10 = 4
