The UCC would have a direct impact on foreign commerce. The reason is that international businesses entail the buying and selling of goods between self-governing countries. Also, it permits the nations to take advantage of competitive benefits and diminishes the cons in other divisions. Therefore, the UCC applies to most transactions between the buyer and the seller. As a consequence, it directly affects the international commerce. Also, the purchasing professionals in international business are essential to have basic knowledge of the UCC. As a result, “the buyers and sellers are also directly affected by the UCC” (White & Summers, 2010). The effect on international commerce by the UCC creates the need for a more flexible framework in utilizing any uniform act that will support the primary objective of the uniform commercial code. Also, the UCC causes many changes in sales activities of the nations involved. Article 2 of the law controls sales contracts made between all parties for the sale of any goods (Stone & Adams, 2012).
