Those forms include emotional support, instrumental support, informational support, and appraisal support. Those who try to provide you with assistance no matter if it’s social or emotional assistance are showing you that they support you socially. Epstein's theory describes six types of involvement that families and communities can use inorder to enhance students’ academic and social success. Those include parenting, communicating, volunteering, learning at home, decision making, and collaborating with the community. “This theory posits that students succeed at higher levels when the internal and
