2 STRATEGIC ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE TO: Dalmas FROM: Lei DATE: September 22, 2015 SUBJECT: Strategic Organizational Structure for Sandwich Blitz, Inc. 1. Creating a new coordinating position between the CEO and the location managers will help Sandwich Blitz, Inc. to grow because it will minimize the work load of top managers like Dalman. Dalman is already complaining that he does not have enough time to strategize about growth and expansion since he is spending most of his time advising the location managers. Delegating the authority will involve the assignment of routine and regular tasks to the subordinate officers while top managers like Dalman will have the opportunity to concentrate even more efficiently in creative and managerial roles. Again creating a new coordinating position between the CEO and location managers will increase the flexibility within the organizational structure (Account learning, 2015). This new proposal will allow more additional layers to be placed into the existing organizational framework via delegation. Finally, specialization will be the direct result of such delegation. So far, the location mangers are doing a great job in managing their locations. Delegation of the coordination manager will be based on
