Chris DuttonENC1101Informal Essay #4There is nothing like a good movie. And when I say good, I’m not talking about your average “pretty good” or “it was alright” movies. I’m talking about movies that leave an enormous impact and are never forgotten. Movies that leave you wanting more but at the same time leave you completely satisfied. But what makes a movie good? A good movie is one that takes you on a journey to another world and envelopes you in an adventure that makes you crave every second of it. They pull you into the story and make you feel like you are living it. A good movie makes you connect deeply with the characters and makes you feel as if you’ve known them your entire life, then leaves you sad to part with them at the end of the movie as if you’re saying goodbye to a best friend. In order for a movie to be considered good, it needs to have visually appealing and immersive footage, an amazing score to back up visuals, and an epic storywith equally epic characters. The best movie/series that does this is Peter Jackson’s, “The Lord ofthe Rings”.Set on the stunning island of New Zealand, the Lord of the Rings is one of the most visually appealing movies there is.
