Take them back to their native land iii. Have them teach their native people culture c. Darwin saw them and was so surprised i. Thought animals were more tame ii. The difference between a savage and civilized man is immense II. Mental Differences between human races a. Darwin thought each race had a different capacity for intelligence b. Difference between different races, men and women, and social classes c. The less intellectual race should be exterminated i. Therefore, the smarter ones would live ii. The gap between humans and primates would widen because of this extermination d. Tasmanian Aborigines i. Problem: They were pushed inland by white natives ii. Not enough food inland so they had to steal food from white men iii. White men killed them all iv. Those that didn’t die, were pushed to an off land island where they
