10/1/15 heart 4 chambers – pump – ANP, BNP - two atria - two ventricles Right – recieves blood from systemic cirucit – O2 poor RA – venus return Valve – tricuspide (right side) RV – Right atrium – tricuspid valve – right ventricle – pulmonary valve – pulmonary trunk – right and left pulmonary arterys – lungs (oxygenation) oxyhemoglobin – right and left pulmonarys viens – left atrium – bicuspid valve – left ventricle – aortic valve – ascending aorta – arch of the aorta – desending aorta Arch of aorta - bracheocephalic trunk(LARGEST - left common carotid - left subclavian artery Left – sends blood to systemic circuit – O2 rich LA – Valve – Bicuspud mitrial valve LV – - left wall is thicker because its higher pressure RA LA Valve valve RV LV Atria – receiving chambers fill with blood returning to the heart Venricle – the pumping chambers – eject into two arteries for distribution to lungs and tissues.
