Life, A Mystery Life is like a mystery, You’ll never know what’s next. But when you do, you’ll be surprised, To find a path that lies ahead. This path is full of many choices, Which one will you choose? I know it’s hard but you have to pick, To get the next clue. Take this clue and get some evidence, Soon you’ll be surprised. You just solved a mystery. The mystery of life. My ideas for this poem came from Journal #3. In this journal we had to write metaphors about life. One of my metaphors was “Life is a mystery because you’ll never know exactly what lies ahead.” I used this idea and based my poem off of it.

Unformatted text preview: This poem to me means that in life there are times when you feel like you have too many decisions to make and you feel like the world is crashing down. But all you have to do is make a choice that you feel is right and go with it. If it doesn’t turn out the way you wanted it to then it’s okay because everyone makes mistakes, next time you’ll know not to do it again. By making these choices you get further in life and then everything falls into place and doesn’t seem so much like a mystery....
