S ECTION 1: T HE B USINESS P ROFILE Description of My Business I plan to rent out bounce houses, in the Chicago land area. With different styles of houses, there will be a perfect activity for every party. I will have an hourly charge for renting them out, but free set up and delivery. Targeted Market and Customers I will target the middle and upper class of people living in the Chicago land area. These houses will be rented out mostly to children’s parties. Also if there are local events and activities in the area. Growth Trends In This Business This business is a necessity to make every child’s party perfect. Therefore, as the word gets around of the best fun ever, more and more people will want to rent a bounce house for their party. There is growth as long as your service is good, and people notice how fun these things are. Pricing Power I will not initially enjoy pricing power in marketing Jump and Bump. In order to achieve lower costs than my larger competitors I plan to do the following: 1) Not be greedy with prices. 2) Buying used houses My ultimate goal is to build a service so family friendly and promote it so effectively that consumers will be willing to pay a premium. My long-term objective is to build a market that is not entirely based on price. My unique features will include: 1) Different types of houses. 2) Gender friendly houses.

ECTION 2: T HE V ISION AND THE P EOPLE The Vision I have a long-term plan to be in business for myself and to utilize the specialized business knowledge I have gained. The business relationships I have developed include ones with the whole sales, advertising in the region, and an experienced bounce houser. The reasons that I feel my plans are realistic is because there is a great need for these in Chicago. I am the right person to pursue this opportunity because I have the motivation of making kids happy to drive me to do my best in this business. There are special market conditions that are favorable to my getting started at this time. They are: 1) Used houses are selling cheap. 2) Many people are anticipating this service because of my advertising. The People Work Experience Related To My intended Business My work experience has been as follows: 1995 – 1998 Area Manager at Bounce Co. I was in charge of all deliveries and schedules at this business. 1998 – 2006 Regional Manager at Bounce Co. I was in charge of buying and replacing the houses. I set up the advertising department and ran that too. I have included a list of work references and character references for my houses. I have personal contacts in the North, South, and West sides of Chicago who
