If you want to go skydiving or scuba diving or any other dangerous activity you will be required to sign a liability waiver. These waivers are here for protection mainly for the company or instructor; so if there is an injury they are not held responsible. I don’t think this is always effective because a lot of times the waivers have no legal standing and cannot be enforced. People now a day find loopholes for everything even when they sign these waivers; but they should know performing any of these

A situation where liability could still be imposed is if there was faulty equipment or the instructor didn’t do his or her job, like sabotage the individual that in turn causes harm to him or her. I feel it depends on what is written in the waiver. I would suggest read before you sign but I understand most people don’t think about getting hurt they just think about having fun....
