The policies were put into place because not only is this a misuse of time better spent taking care of our customers’ needs, but it is a distraction to fellow co-workers. If the transgressions continue there will be policies put into place where no mobile devices are allowed at or near the office. To prevent these new policies from being put into place will require compliance from all employees about not participating in personal phone use when at their desk and especially during scheduled shifts.
