Memo To: Andrew Harris (non-active co-worker) From: Nicole Rabe Date: July 23, 2007 Re: Becoming more like Christ The other day, I was assigned to read a devotional given by William H. Baker titled  Knowing, Doing, and Being .  While I was reading, the thought of our conversation at  work a couple weeks ago kept playing over in the back of my mind, and I thought  you would appreciate the message conveyed in the talk.  You expressed to me your  desire to come back to the church, and how you know what you need to do, but are  not sure about how to start getting back on track.  In this devotional I learned a three  step process that includes: (1) improving our knowledge, (2) growing by doing, and  (3) purifying ourselves, which will ultimately lead us to becoming more like Christ. Knowing Be Selective: In our growing technological world today, we have every kind of  information, literally, at our fingertips.  Therefore, it is crucial we are able to discern  between useful and destructive material.  Strengthen your conviction of spiritually  uplifting knowledge to aid you in your eternal progression. Study essential sources:  The three major sources Dr.
