Unformatted text preview: Ericsson speaks the truth in this essay. She sounds like she knows what she is talking about and like she has gone through most of the kinds of lies in this essay. At one point she makes a statement that makes sense to a man but might hurt a woman, A man who wont lie to a woman has very little consideration for her feelings (175). This statement says what every man thinks and what every woman would disagree with. It is a great example of the message that she is trying to send with this entire essay.
