IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON NURSES’ MENTAL HEALTH2Impact of Covid-19 on Nurses' mental healthThe Novel Coronavirus is a respiratory disorder associated with the SARS Cov-2virus. It began in Wuhan, China, characterized by shortness of breath, persistent cough, highbody temperature, vomiting, nausea, fatigue, and fever. The covid-19 pandemic has hadsignificant impacts on everyone, including nurses. Research indicates that nurses depictpsychological adaptation struggles in the wake of the pandemic. Anxiety, stress/distress, anddepression are significant indicators that Covid-19 significantly impacts nurses' mentalhealth. Also, others have depicted Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, especially when dealingwith the aftermath of the pandemic (Chidiebere Okechukwu et al., 2020). There is a need forintervention to help nurses improve their mental health. I will profoundly explore the topic todevelop recommendations of how nurses can cope with these impacts.
