Compellation of songs performed by Alanis Morissette with a band, in 1995. With this album, Alanis Morissette made music history. Jagged Little Pill was the most selling album by a female artist in the US and the highest selling debut worldwide. Filled with songs about love, break up, struggle, and defeat Alanis Morissette proved her ability not only to perform music but also to write and make good music. Jagged Little Pill had many number one hits and received many prestigious awards such as Juno Awards and Grammys. Selling almost 30 million copies world wide, with this one album, Alanis Morissette made her mark in music history. But with most success comes problems and with Jagged Little Pill , Morissette caused some controversy with the lyrics of her songs on this album. Jagged Little Pill opens with one of the many hits from the CD, “All I Really Wanted,” a song about a girl who is frustrated with her boyfriend and how it makes her.
