Bruna Koetz Education 191W October 21 st , 2014 Worksheet #2 1. I have personally dealt with depression and anxiety for many years. Since I was around 7, I have had great periods of anxiety and during those I would suffer from panic attacks. Sometimes it would be bad for a few days, other times it would be for a few months. It has been over a year since I’ve had a panic attack and I’ve really learned to use techniques that I learned in therapy to manage my anxiety. However, over the last few years I have dealt with trying to manage depression. I chose to go to therapy after I felt it had gotten out of hand and that helped me for a while. But I chose to no longer go, and recently I have felt myself slipping back into the same feelings of self- hatred and thoughts of self-harm. I have been trying to manage it as well as I can but sometimes it does affect my life. I have had problems with not wanting to leave my house, only going to work and school, I have no desire to see my friends, or do anything fun. I always try to just focus on what I can do
