Paradigm 2 -Germany-goal is not for profit -Societal goal: to serve the people -US pays more to get less (insurance, daycare, school, etc) -All Europeans will live longer than us because of universal healthcare -Social conflict theory rejects the structural view -Conflict theorist argues structionalist view only benefits a few people and deprives many -US is set up only to benefit a few 1-10% of nation -People that are at the top will do anything to remain their power -Ex: conflict analysis on education argue that schooling serves to perpetuate the inequality in the US by recreating the social/class/structure in each social state -Tracking system based on background not personal merit/talent -higher background gives more opportunities -privileged=best education, jobs, incomes, etc -poor=lesser education, jobs, incomes, etc -property taxes pay for public schooling -everyone is not getting equal education in the public schooling system -the social standing of one generation is passed on to the next

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
