Unformatted text preview: GROUP 5 The stretch wrapper in Stout’s packaging lab is manufactured by Italdibipack. It is a pallet wrapper and the machine model is an ECOSPIR EL/S. The machine is run on 110 volts. The pallet wrapper’s capability can produce 10 cycles per minute (table turn speed). The primary function of this machine is to wrap the pallets at the end of any line. The machine can accommodate basically any product change because the machine is run manually, but has the option of being run automatically. The switch to manual and automatic is to adjust for any changes to the pallets you may be wrapping. Not only do you have the option of switching back and forth, but it is easily programmed as well, with a few simple buttons.
