Peterson Domestic violence is a very well-known term. This term describes many different situations, but most commonly related to intimate relationships between a man and a woman in which one partner (usually male) assaults and intimidates to overpower and control the other partner. Domestic violence has been recognized as a major woman’s health issue. Not only does domestic violence include violent attacks, it can also be psychological, economic, and sexual abuse. Domestic violence is a widespread problem in the United States that occurs among all ages, genders, and races. Every year, about 2,000 women are murdered by there current or former male partners.
