Youmans 1 Roger Youmans Jr. Intro to Physical Education Observation 3 Professor Lowden Physical Education can not always just be taught out of a book or in a classroom, usually it has to be taught hands on as well to see how other physical educators teach. When my group attended Canandaigua Elementary to observe their Physical Education class I observed plenty and learned plenty of valuable information that might help me in the future. Being my goal is to be a physical education teacher, it was a real thrill to be able to observe a class rather then just be participating in one as I did through out my life. The class I observed was 5 th grade Co-Ed class. Canandaigua Elementary physical education class is 45 minutes long which makes it hard to have a more productive physical education class because time is limited but they don’t make the kids change so that saves time. They have class 2 times every 5 days so basically 2 times a week. There were 46 students in the class I observe and this was because there were 2 classes together
