Abstract This lab was about creating a test circuit for all the labs to come. It required the abilities to read a circuit diagram and understand how to wired resistors, switches, and inverters. Causing the students to get a very basic form of knowledge when it comes to creating their own circuits. Design Methodology The idea behind the design of this circuit was to create a test circuit for future labs this quarter. The left hand side of the breadboard (shown in figure 1.1) demonstrated that you needed to have a dip resistor connected to power, ground as well as the switch. The switch was also wired into the ground, but instead of being wired into the power it was in turn left with the capability to be wired to the inverters through a circuit or straight on (shown on diagram 2). The inverters were wired into the LED light so that if a signal was sent it would be able to light the LED lights up showing us in a visual way that the circuits worked.
