(attached) Chapter 5 What does the slogan "Travel was a meat thing" mean? For a construct to actually be useful, it must travel, but it must travel with a human or in a human, and that is where the meat comes into play. Chapter 6 How is Armitage another variation on the machine/human interface theme? He is a construct being run by Wintermute, he isn’t real in many aspects, but he is still a human body and tissue. Nobody even knew that he was a construct. Chapter 7 What does the last line of this chapter signify? That Wintermute is trying to find him and knows where he is at all times because he’s able to make the phones ring in order to try and catch Case’s attention. Chapter 8 What reveals that Dixie Flatline is, in fact, bothered by knowing that he is dead? Nothing bothers him, because he’s not alive. Every part of him is phantom. Chapter 9 What does Wintermute reveal to Case about its true nature? He informs Case of Corto, (Armitage), and also of his intentions to take down the other AI’s
