COVID-19 Face Covering Addendum (required for all):Face Coverings in Class and LabAs stated in RCC's Student Code of Conduct, all students are consideredresponsible adults and are expected to conduct themselves in accordancewith generally accepted standards of behavior that are pertinent to providingall members of the College community with a safe environment thatdemonstrates respect for other persons, respect for property, and thatcontributes to a positive learning environment; and, any behavior deemed byCollege officials to be a violation of accepted standards or decency or safety,or which threatens the campus working or learning environment, or whichare prohibited by local, state, or federal law. In recognition of thisresponsibility, and in response to the best available science, every studentmust wear an appropriate face mask/covering that covers their nose andmouth while in the classroom and all other indoor public spaces. Thismandate is subject to change as conditions evolve and guidance from therelevant governmental and public health organizations is revised. Studentswho are not properly wearing a face covering will be asked to leave theclassroom; they may return when they follow this basic public healthrecommendation. Faculty are not responsible for providing any make-upinstruction or activities beyond what is already being offered to the class.Refusal to leave will result in a student conduct violation and campussecurity will be notified. A number of disposable masks are available acrosscampus. It is the student’s responsibility to procure a mask.Virtual/Automated Proctoring Addendum:Faculty will review flagged sections of footage.
