Bloomberg January 7 th , 2019: The new year begins and so does the start of a new
automobile era. Chief Executive Officer of the Tesla American auto company, Elon Musk, plans
to build a new Gigafactory in Shanghai, China. Musk tends to expand and improve the car
manufacturing industry of the electric vehicle, Tesla Model 3 and Model Y in greater China. I
believe this will be groundbreaking to the automobile business in China because this will be the
first Tesla factory Musk has decided to officially plant outside of the United States. With the
resources and material China has to offer, Elon Musk plans to accomplish this international
expansion.
