Research 1 WEEK 2 ASSIGNMENT Types of Sources During the exploratory stage of research three levels of sources are utilized to develop results and increase research. Main sources are original works which have not been interpreted by one more person. Main works are also called original works; they reveal original ideas, results, and information. Main sources are the most dependable sources since the information has not been tampered with by any secondary party. Instances may include diaries, autobiographies, speeches, and interviews. Secondary sources are evaluation of main data which has been presented by one more source. Writers analyzed original information to draw conclusions depending on generalization,

Instances might include commentaries, printed articles, and net sites. Tertiary sources use main and secondary sources to make a compilation of information. Tertiary sources are the least authoritative illustration of information. Instances might include directories, manuals, and indexes. Uses of Secondary Data Secondary data is utilized if scientists require rapid and inexpensive results to questions. Secondary data is readily available and can give sufficient information to a lot of business issues. In lots of cases original data might not be available to scientists and secondary data is needed to complete study. One instance of secondary data which most companies use is government data. All government records which are available to scientists are believed secondary data. Other instances might include special
