Strategic Planning Process1What Is The Strategic Planning Process?
of this mission statement, seeing how it basically outlines what it is the organization is attempting to accomplish. Strategic Planning Process3The second step to the strategic planning process is analyzing the external and internal environment (Plunkett, 1993), which allows the organization to get an idea of how the organization is going to operate and what the outside world would provide, asfar as pros and cons go. The internal environment of the organization would focus on the strengths and the weaknesses associated with the organization. This can have a lot to do with the employees of the organization, including the diferent levels of management and the owners. All members must be capable of highlighting their strengths, while evaluating and strengthening their weaknesses. An organization is only as strong as its weakest link. The external environment would focus more on the opportunities available to their success and the threats that eliminate their success.
