NEWS RELEASE February 3, 2008 Contact Information: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE [Your Name], Account Executive Phone: [enter number here] E-mail: [enter e-mail address here] GAMMA PHI BETA HOSTS FIFTH ANNUAL FUNDRAISER Town Trot for Tikes 10K and 2-Mile Fun Run TERRE HAUTE, IN – Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority, an organization dedicated to serving the community, will host their Fifth Annual Town Trot for Tikes 10K and 2-Mile Fun Run beginning at 9:00am on Saturday, March 1, 2008. The race will be held on the campus of Indiana State University, starting at the Hulman Memorial Student Union. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to Riley Children’s Hospital, a hospital devoted to improving the health and well-being of the children in Indiana. Monetary donations will gladly be accepted at the race.

Registration will be open until 8:00am on the morning of the race. Souvenir t-shirts will be given to each participant. Individuals who successfully finish the Town Trot for Tikes 10K will receive a medal for their hard work and accomplishment. Cristy Morris, a long distance runner and spokesperson for Riley Children’s Hospital, will conduct a pre-race clinic on Saturday, February 23, 2008 to help prepare the participants racing in the 10K event. “This fundraiser is touching to me,” Morris said. “Not only does it help raise money to cure ill children, but it also gives the participants something to look forward to.”-###-...
