Reflection
The majority of stakeholder management definitions seem to center on the concept that you can
"manage your stakeholder (in order to just get them doing what you want)". The creation of a
stakeholder management strategy, which maps the degree of interest and impact of stakeholders and lists
the various levels of involvement for different groups, is the primary focus. When a project is first
started, a plan is generally produced and then filed away to collect dust.
This week’s guide differs from the others in that it focuses on a specific topic. We are not going
to teach you how to herd sheep, corral them into nice little enclosures, and then assume that they are all
moving in the same way as you want them to.
In the majority of situations, engaging in stakeholder engagement, consultation, and management
has both a legal and a strategic goal in mind. It's possible that you have a legislative or legal obligation
to consult (Watt, 2014). And, presumably, you have a clear understanding of the strategic advantages
