Prologue London School of Public Relations – Jakarta, as we know is one of the best communication schools in Jakarta. LSPR-Jakarta was established in 1992 by Ms. Prita Kemal Gani, MBA , MCIPR, APR. LSPR-Jakarta aims to be an institution which produces highly qualified and skillful graduates with grade ‘A’ for its undergraduate program in communications. LSPR-Jakarta it self has 6 major, and one of them is Performing Arts Communication. LSPR Theatre Festival has performed 13 tittles of theatre performance since 2005–January 2014. In 2005, LSPR Theatre Festival had achieved a MURI record from Museum Rekor Muri Indonesia, category of the longest theatre performance on a week with different tittles which were performed. Some of tittles that ever performed, such as, The Little Shop of Horror (2010), Veronica Cory (2010), Alice in Wonderland (2011), Nine (2011), Spring Awakening (2012), I’ll Leave It To You (2012), Into The Woods(2013), Girls Night (2013), Matilda The Musical (2014) and many others. And this year, we are going to held The 16th LSPR Theatre Festival. In the first year the students will get the class of Introduction to Performing Arts Communication. LSPR Theatre Festival made as a final examination for the class of Introduction to Performing Arts Communication and we must pass this subject to continue our study in the next semester. Each class has to participate by making a play. Introduction to Performing Arts Communication it self designed to get the students well-grounded and competent in mastering all the basic and advanced skills needed to effectively perform in today’s multicultural society. Our class, 19-12A will perform at LSPR Theatre Festival with the title “She Wrote, Died, Then Wrote Some More”. This program aims to develop and equip the students about knowledge and understanding in directing, creative writing, acting, singing, basic of scenes and costume design, and also how to manage plan and production.
