When the Battle of Quebec was going on hopes were high because of the successful fall of Fort St. Jean. They had become terrified of having British constantly in the north as a threat. At this time, Washington had ordered Benedict Arnold along with General Richard Montgomery to take over the military control in Quebec. The party that Montgomery’s was in charge of started in August and started the Fort St. Jean attack, it took them until November to take control of it. After this had been done, they headed towards Quebec to reach Arnold however they had a much smaller army than before the reason for this sickness,
