Strategic Direction “McDonald's brand mission is to be our customers' favorite place and way to eat and drink. Our worldwide operations are aligned around a global strategy called the Plan to Win, which center on an exceptional customer experience – People, Products, Place, Price and Promotion. We are committed to continuously improving our operations and enhancing our customers' experience.” (1) McDonalds mission statemement (1) summarizes what they thrive to do. McDonalds mission is to be the best place to get some food or a drink. It wants to be the easiest, fastest, and best tasting food available. McDonalds goal is to continuously improve their operations and customer experience. The mission statement doesn't explain how McDonalds improves their operations. They may improve their operations by lowing the quality of food slightly, but increasing the food production by a large amount. “We place the customer experience at the core of all we do.
